Soundscape: London Sounds Project: Parts 1 and 2

London Sounds (16' 54" total) By Michele Banal

These two short films were produced in May 2010 by Michele Banal as part of a Media Production Skills course at the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies. The project was inspired by Peter Cusack's "favorite sound" project. Each part engages individuals in attentive listening and deconstruction of favorite soundscapes.

- Part 1 London Sounds (7' 56") Includes listening observations by Elsa, a celloist and philosopher, and John a violinist and ethnomusicology student.

- Part 2 London Sounds (8' 58") Includes listening observations by Nick, a software engineer and website developer and Rebecca an Illustrator and imaginator.
