Chaitén (3:11) The town of Chaitén, Chile, was evacuated in May, 2008 when the long dormant Chaiten Volcano erupted about 10 kilometers from the town located in the Chilean Patagonia. This video visits the soundscape of an abandon cabin now void of human habitation and sitting within the shadow of the mountain. This is an audiovisual essay produced for Forks Magazine.
