Soundscape Installation: At the Edge of Wilderness
At the Edge of Wilderness (5:00) At the Edge of Wilderness is a 52-minute installation about mining ghost towns in Southern British Columbia, Canada. Photographs and sounds were gathered in 2000 for Industrial Ear, a group show produced by the Western Front in Vancouver. What originally was a five-projector slide and soundscape installation, commissioned by the Western Front with assistance of the Canada Council for the Arts, has been adapted to a video presentation on DVD. Florence Debeugny, Photographer and Hildegard Westerkamp, Composer. Source: YouTube
