Minute of Listening is a creative learning project through which the Sound and Music project hopes to enable every child in the the UK to gain access to a huge diversity of music and sound and, for sixty seconds each day, to focus on the richness and enjoyment of the act of listening.
From January to March 2012 over 20,000 children at 70 schools around the UK took part in the pilot for Minute of Listening, experiencing a new minute-long extract of music or sound each day. You can find out more about the project at: soundandmusic.org/projects/minute-listening
