Soundscape Composition: Harmonic Field - A Symphonic Sound Walk


Harmonic Field (4:59) In 2010 Pierre Sauvageot created and installed, in Martiques, this wind symphony for listeners-walkers that included 500 instruments: cello harmonics, drums shakers, glockenspiel-mills, bamboo-whistles, sirens-helices, music boxes, circles, and other instruments.  The ensemble is played by the wind which required an understanding by the artist of resonance, space, and time.
