A discussion about “Snaefellsnes” (2008) a Multi-channel audio work encoded for 47 channel Commissioned by Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary. The project was recorded on location in Iceland, this composition, which resonates throughout the structure of The Morning Line, captures the atmosphere, mystery, and elemental forces of the remote Snfellsnes Peninsula, home to the Snfellsjökull volcano. Sound Recording - Mosquito Identification


Mosquito Identification (3:59) A simple recording of a mosquito’s buzz on a cell phone could contribute to a global-scale mosquito tracking map of unprecedented detail. The Prakash Labat Stanford, led by Manu Prakash, assistant professor of bioengineering, is looking for citizen scientists to contribute to Abuzz, a mosquito monitoring platform the lab developed to produce the most detailed global map of mosquito distribution. All that’s required is for as many people as possible to 
submit audio recordings of mosquitoes they encounter.
